It's not the obvious that is seen.
Painted by the artist brush.
But impressions left between,
within a patron's mind's eye rush.
Something faint on the canvas,
yet so undeniably there to see.
Perceptions of an enamored novice,
mysteries layered miles deep.
The unbrushed strokes so vibrant,
impacting all the various hues.
Images portrayed in ultraviolet,
shimmering impression by the muse'.
Monet's,Renoir's faintest mellowed strokes,
subdued dreamscapes seem to float.

wow. so much said in so little words. I'm impressed. The wording, the rhyming... everything just goes so well together. I like how you say there is a difference between what is observed and the impressions that the artists brush pain. So poetic. Love it!

some nice ideas
the relationship between the work of art and the observer, "impressions left between", "something faint on the canvas yet so indeniable there to say." -
