Oh, bard of blessed, brasher wisdom,
you do unravel my secret longing,
as glimpse of hollow
in heaven's whisper.
I see your misty pearls,
as shimmered manifestations,
a subtle ache to hold my neighbor
in such a love to draw his spirit,
within my inner scrim,
as backdrop,
to walk my stage in light’s enhancement,
for what I am
is found inside you.
I write my dreamy fingers home,
when night shows love
in distant shadows,
to send you eyes of fresh expression,
and see your pain,
as softer echo
in glass stretched far
across our water,
when October bares her solemn promise,
remembering rhyme,
in sacred reason.

Oh, oh...oh..."what I am
is found inside you."
if only, if only, we lived by this truth..
" write my dreamy fingers home, "
oh my goodness....what incredible penning... I do, I do write myf ingers home, and often...
a sacred poem and perfectly done for what I was hoping for in this contest.

...and so it was, this morning. Sacred pearls.
"for what I am is found inside you"

This is so beautiful - one of your best lately!
"I write my dreamy fingers home,
when night shows love
in distant shadows,
to send you eyes of fresh expression,"
Love this!
