I am al that you wish you were,
I am the soul of your wicked curse...
All that you aare is because of me,
And no one else has such decree,
For I am the shadow you cannot catch,
The weight pulling you over the edge.
I've seen you swallow the hand that feeds,
And I'm watching you scar the eyes that see...
What more must I have you hear,
You know I instruct your immortal fear,
So now I lay me down to sleep,
Prepared to haunt you in your dreams...
For every step I am your floor,
And I shall be here forever more.
What is life worth without a risk,
You know only you can grant your wish.
Please tell me what you think

Powerful write and makes a person think. I especially liked the last two lines. Even if people were to spend their lives being safe all the time, maybe there would be a feeling of boredom and wanting more excitement in life.
While I think it is important to be careful about some things in life, such as staying healthy, sometimes risks can be worthwhile. Like, when people take chances on love without really being able to predict what will happen in the far off future. Keep writing.

I am al that you wish you were,
^ Typo. But anyways... I think I was just expecting something a little different. Do you mind elaborating a little maybe in your author's notes where you were going with this? -
