Keep it Going

And maybe we all cross paths on the intersection of life
We pass without a glance to each other
Only paying attention to one person; ourselves
Laughing while people are hurting
Smiling while people are dying
Unknowing and small
We all try to make our mark in the world
For some of us it could be a huge difference
But for others that huge difference could just be a smile to another
A greeting while passing
Helping someone up when they fall
Recycling
Giving clothes to the poor
Because all these small acts make the big cirlce of life go around

very simply stated, a strong message and this piece definitely gets the point across... in my personal opinion, this piece would be more poetic if it were not so literal and if perhaps the conclusion were expressed using metaphor... either way, thanks for the positive message and for entering this piece into my contest!
