When The Rains Come

I’ve always maintained
That I don’t believe in
Umbrellas.
When I was a child,
I’d run from my mother’s,
Or use mine for dancing
At the bus stop,
Broadway-style,
With a no-holds-barred appreciation
For the rejuvenation
From above.

Lol. I wonder just how many of us used our umbrellas
as a toy for acting and playing.
I am sure many will relate to this thanks for joining in warm thoughts.
