Quarter of a dollar
Silver in color
Heads up, tails down
One fourth of my life
Over forty years ago
I could buy a gallon of gas
Twenty-five cents
Four of these
almost fill the tank
Five chocolate candy bars
For twenty-five cents
Mars, Milky ways, Heresy’s
Teeth full of cavities
Many more quarters
Dentist would charge

lol. This is a great write. Usually don't think of the money a person would spend at the dental office after eating all that chocolate. I remember one time about four or five years ago when I ate too many sweets one year and ended up with a cavity. The first and only one I've ever had in my life. Wasn't too happy about the bill, being extra with the charge of the filling. Thanks for the comment on "Atomic Memory". And, best of luck to you in the contest.

I feel like i just had a conversation with one of my grandparents lol. I liked it though, twenty five cents can only get u a rather small bag of chips these days!

it is interesting when i used to talk with my grandmother... how she always was amazed that i got
a quarter for one of my teeth from the old fairy...
and how she would get pennies or a nickel if it was a back tooth.
i enjoyed where you took the end of this
thank you for your entry
