A special Bloemhof workshop, which I presented this morning (13 October 2007) at Stellenbosch, South Africa. Roses need pruning once in a while. HUGS to you all, Bloemhof Roses! Here I am with one of the groups. Thank you all for a lovely experience.
Baie dankie, fraaie Bloeme -- ek het dit so geniet om by julle te wees!

These are the most tender roses of all, how wonderful that they have a gardener who knows how they need tending! It is a reminder that not all losses are bad - pruning is beneficial, even if painful at first. Thank you for these lovely thoughts, and the happy picture!
(I love the border roses - may I borrow?)

I see by their smiles that they thoroughly enjoyed your visit. I must say this garderner has done a magnificent jobs with her roses.

This is a beautiful and well written haiku. It reminds me of a story if you will indulge me:
There once was a rose bush that was beautiful. One day the gardener pruned her way back. The rose bush cried and asked the gardener; “why are you doing this to me?”. Little did the rose bush know that by the gardener doing so she would bloom twice as beautiful next season. The moral of the story is in the book of Isaiah; “Gods ways are not mans ways”.
Love,
Amera♥

What a nice haiku (I think it is, if I counted right, lol) without thorns and very nice picture of blooming roses.
I like to work with kids as well to write for them.
