These mountains called my name
The villagers screamed for my help
My love asked for my heart
and I asked for hers
But now she leaves me
The villagers died
and the mountains crumble at my feet
I felt it coming
The end to my reign
My glory
Fallen
and I did nothing

This reminded me of the movie Princess Mononoke for some reason. I don't know if it was the village aspect or what. Excellent write and good luck in my contest.

Tragic
Sometime the woes of the world placed on ones shoulders
Although a cry is heard an action is to hard to conceive
