An Expression of Simplicity

What is it I want to say?
I have said all I could,
Yet,
I am not satisfied with my expression,
They do not match the intensity of my emotion.

I constantly search for the words,
The right combination of verbal exquisiteness,
Sometimes sharing how I feel,
With literal phrasing and definitions,
I attempt so even in other languages.

However,
I have come to understand,
That sometimes,
All I am able to say is,
I love you.

Those three words,
Have become the simplest form,
Of sharing with you,
The multitude of meanings I have constantly expressed,
One sentence tells everything.

I love you.
Three small words,
One second of time in stating,
Seems too simple; too brief,
Each word contains all I am.

I say to you,
Those three words,
And in doing so,
I am giving all of my being,
To you.

Author notes

This piece will be a work in progress, I wrote it on the fly, and it needs some fine tuning. Ketu, you may add what you wish, if you chose to do so.

I like the word 'sometimes', it is very appropriate in describing life itself, in that everything is only 'sometimes'
