that life is full of a bit of everything, tears to kiss
Mistletoe, and diamonds, cinderella tales and gore
life is so jam packed, one can hardly ask for more

Just to sit on a porch swing is just like having a fling
and oh my goodness, a piano? why then now you can sing
so many disappointments; one sometimes can't keep up
but then along comes the good news, yes, a shiny gold cup

You had best be believing your goose and hen is in the pot
and you'd better be ecstatic for the few things that you've got
Never underestimate and/or take your 'now' life for granted
you will be confounded when you've finished rave and ranting

Life's a bowl of chocalate, oui, and fruit, and fruit flies, too
