Angelic Child

innocence flows quietly from her golden locks
as she plays faithfully with the flowers
the butterflies
that tease the very fabric of existence
and all eternity
that mark each white dove with a number
a fated tattoo that taints the angelic child
capturing her smile
molding her heart
and making her way to
adolesence

ah yes, there comes a time when we have to leave the childhood innocence and dreams and awake to the cold face of reality, it can be painful for some, especially those creative souls, ian curtis, kurt cobain to name but 2.

Beautifully penned. I love the way you made reference to the angel moving along in life with her. Thank you so much for your entry
