Do You See Me? (A tribute to Sally)
I see you
whispering behind my ear
gazing into my cleopatra black eyes.
I see you
acting like an idiot
wanting to run your fingers through my silky hair
I see you
wishing that you had my looks
envy sparking through your fingertips
I see you
spreading rumors behind my back
talking about a bad reputation
being a traitor
instead of a best friend
hating me
instead of loving me
beating me
instead of hugging me
or giving me a kiss on the cheek
Do you see me
when I walk home
afraid of what lies inside?
Do you see me
when my stomach leaps to my throat
when I know I have nowhere to hide?
Do you see me
When I come to school
with scars and signs of hurt
that invade my face?
Do you see me
when I hide my pain with beauty
cover it up with make-up
and a flirtatious atmosphere?
Do you see me
when he loses control
with that belt
and that buckle?
i did his for a english project

The beginning is decent, but it really picks up during the middle, and the end is a very successful way to conclude. The imagery and descriptions are also really useful, as I can imagine and see this whole situation. Nice work!
