amber rising autumn moon and stars that danced
so amused, just beyond fingertips
and then enticingly near my eyes;
had she not been there
that moment of tides and time
when unseen currents held us, as if in palms
of playful children; night whispers filled our ears
when lips pursed to dim a candle,
found my waiting lips instead, touching..

Wow, this is amazing imagery. So much metaphor and simile (hope I got that right) used to convey tender emotions. This stanza floored me:
