Friend you are a dear,
in my heart you bring new cheer.
Within you an open mind, and tender heart,
I knew we'd be friends right from the start.
You pick me up when I'm down,
now I seldomly have a frown.
You leave me amazed,
at your tender gaze.
Though not together every day,
I imagine your face in my mind eye, it is of elegant
grace. Secrets you'd normally hide, you've trusted in me to confide.

A real blessed Angel in disguise,
you always gives me relief after I cry.
I feel comfort with each gentle word,
I believe you were sent by the lord.
I owe Him for giving me such a wonderful friend,
my tragic wounds you do so easily mend.

You are someone I couldn't offend,

to me you are an excellent friend.
