She’s a charming
and warm soul;
poet and actress
whose imagination
touches the sky,
she plucks stars
to garnish the garlands
of verse.
Her plate is brimful of
fervent imaginations
and genuine feelings;
deliciously coated with wit,
rhythm and rhyme.
She carries
a humorous heart of gold
laced with sprightly smile.
Vibes of her presence
sooths heap
of hearts
.

Thank you so much for these enchanting words my friend. You know...my mom always said; "a true friend has no lapsed time on their pocket watch". We do not communicate like we once did but I feel the genuine spirit of love in these words and I truly love you back for them, and simply for being there. Darn anonymous contests, lol. Ah but thanks to Mariza's comment I know who wrote this. I like when that happens.
Something charming about this poem, I wish I knew something about poetry so I could explain what that is...maybe how it just glides along so effortlessly...I think the short lines make that work.
But maybe it's also adjective and word choice, like, "plucks stars," and "garnish the garlands," etc. Probably a combination of those things and more. -
