Impressive!
This background is extremely engaging ...usually I would think the backdrop to be too overwhelming with so many repeats, but I don't that here, and you've faded it just the right amount...the verse on the border compliments the picture perfectly

Wow, this is powerful. I have a few writes that this would fit. A number of people write Good Friday or Passion week writes. This almost overwhelms, But the verse is handled in a modern, understated way. (though "the ghost" sounds very King James to me, I prefer His spirit)
Still, that wouldn't stop me from using this for a really powerful poem.
