I can't get no sleep,
Body is a wrecked heap,
Twitching chaos,
tick tock, tick tock,
words, words, words,
Noises shriek,
The outlook is bleak,
Help I'm drowning,
spin, spin, spin,
words and numbers,
ABC, 123 whirling,
This means nothing to me,
I'm in need of sleep!
No more disturbing,
The whole house,
Cats playing with a mouse,
Squeak, squeak, squeak,
I can't get no sleep,
Pencil to paper,
A release to trapped words,
One deep sigh,
Respite for a while,
But I'll be back,
To,
I can't get no sleep,
Twitching chaos,
Help Me!
I need to hang on,
My sanity is waning,
Night should be soothing,
Soft music from a movie?
sweet, sweet, sweet,
Fed up with this heat,
Bedsheets tormenting ,
My mind is lamenting,
I need to relax,
Fight these wracking twitches,
Adrenalin high,
I can't seem to slow,
Cry, cry, cry,
yet still, I can't get no sleep,
I could melt and weep,
My brain will fry,
Toppling from this manic high,
To mis-understood darkness,
Die, die, die,
Nothing can stop it,
I would feel so much better,
If only I could get some ,
Sleep, sleep, sleep!,
I can't get no sleep.

I like how it was written as if it were the exact train of thought. Maybe it was? You caught the feelings of frustration very well.
Good luck in the contest!

Wonderful
Very well done. And so well expressed.
