Quite unique, I can see you have worked hard on this beautiful background...I think the colour works well, the text is readable, and I like the imagery it portrays...the crosses look kind of blurred which I also like, they would make a great background on their own
but eaqually as nice with the border

The colors work ok. Did you stretch the background horizontally more than vertically? It looks that way. Still, for some people, that adds to the appeal. I generally enlarge the same in both directions to avoid distortion. You can always repeat the border, or part of it, anyway.
With the praying hands and illustrations this has a kind of dated look to it, design wise. The peach picture looks like a scene from Revelations, the last book in the Bible.

I could have repeated them, yes, but the thought didn't occur at the time.
I wouldn't know which Bible the illustrations are from, as I am not particularly religious.
