Life is not fair or is it,and we just don't have a magnifying glass handy?
Being able to walk and enjoy the tainted soil that leaves me climbing.
Breathing freely without restriction to the air of contamination.
Being able to drive to that place, that makes me want to stay in bed each day.
The music that gives me the feeling of unity to a world of infinite strife.
Being able to feel even if it causes pain and loneliness.
Being able to hear the birds sing,even if I can not relate to their freedom.
Dreaming even if it is only a moment of refuge,or perhaps a painful release.
Having a wish or prayer come true even if I had to annihilate myself to achieve it.
Wishing or praying for something that does not come true;only to find out it would have annihilated me.
Having a fragment of hope,even if it was a form of self deception.
Knowing the truth even if it destroys me from the inside out.
Having the choice to speak our minds even if no-one is listening.
Being brave enough to love someone even if they don't love me back.
Being able to remember, even if all I want to do is forget.
Being able to recognize all the good in the things that cause us so much damage.

This is insperational. So many things to ask for and too hope to be like.

what conundrum, what paradox.
I understand what you mean.
I know these things well
and I say that I'm sorry
but then, no I am not.
We all need exactly what we get,
no matter what it may be.
So, good luck to you, as you trudge through this world.
Because, perhaps, it's not really trudging.
Perhaps we merely float above very thick air.

I am glad you liked this write,sometimes in life we concentrate on the bad things, without appreciating the good things; that in daily life seem so small. Yet those small things are actually HUGE blessings, if we just take the time to look deeper and see that. Because without those "small things" we would be really messed up!Thnx again
