Standing here on the wrong side of a grave
I should have gone before you, girl.
Wasn't your time, nor was it mine.
I thought you swore that we'd never have to part.
2:00 Nightmare, 2:00 Friend
2:00 nightmare said that soon these days would end.
2:00 nightmare, 2:00 song.
2:00 nightmare said that soon....
We'd know right from wrong.
Shadows play games on the floor of my 2:00 room.
I thought you swore that you were in it till the end?
I counted on your pretty words, I counted on your pretty face
Think you forgot how I needed you my friend.
2:00 Nightmare, 2:00 Friend
2:00 nightmare said that soon these days would end.
2:00 nightmare, 2:00 song.
2:00 nightmare said that soon....
We'd know right from wrong.
I was too scared to make a bet
I was too scared to call your bluff
I was too scared to hold your hand
I was too scared to sell my stuff
And now it seems that I was right,
it was a case of misplaced faith
Let's bow our heads and hide from sight
and try our best to save some face
2:00 Nightmare, 2:00 Friend
2:00 nightmare said that soon these days would end.
2:00 nightmare, 2:00 song.
2:00 nightmare said that soon....
We'd know right from wrong.
I think it's time I closed my eyes.
I think it's time I tried to sleep.
I think it's time I tried to get the imprint of you out of my mind.
It's time I finally thought of me.
2:00 Nightmare, 2:00 Friend
2:00 nightmare said that soon these days would end.
2:00 nightmare, 2:00 song.
2:00 nightmare said that soon....
We'd know right from wrong.

Brilliant lyrics.
Do you have any music to go with it? you didn't say which style in your notes.

Thank you so much. There is definitely music to go with it, and it's sort of folky, I suppose. It changes a lot, though, because it starts at somewhat of a frenzied pace, and then slows down to almost a crawl for the last verse and chorus.
