Just lie there, o sweet one, on cloud’s pillow bed
while softly the moon sings a song overhead
A lullaby tune that will ease burden’s deep
and hold you so gently in most peaceful sleep
The angels surrounding will keep you secure
through all that you face in these times you endure
A mantle of love covers you as you rest
reminding you of things for which you are blessed
So sleep sound and sleep well for time will draw near
when darkness will vanish and clear skies appear
And when your eyes open to sunlight’s embrace
the dried tears will be gone with smiles to replace

wow i heard a flute playing the whole time i read it. it was relaxing and it reminded me of a mother who soothes her baby to sleep. awesome flow, awesome rhyme, this was so great. really aw...e....s...o m e *nods off to sleep...*
