LAVENDER
lavender is the color of calm,
settling,comfortness.
getting lost into thought of
dreams,as lavender sets off and drifts you away.
lavender of a shade of purple,
is going deep into thought.
even if its a shade of purple,
its a completely different color as of feeling.
they settle emotions,
and sets it calmness in its great flower its named after.

I am so glad that I stumbled across this poem. I am a big fan of lavender. I find nothing more soothing and calming then the smell of lavender and I felt you have captured it's ability quite nicely in this poem. Congrats on your honorable mention. I can definately see why you got it.
