Now you see me, Now you don't.

I am what you see
this is really just me,
no deception and guile
just a painted on smile;
Some days it will slip
and the mask twists a bit
but most days I can grin,
is that really a sin?;
Dark and dreary I'm not,
there again I'm no tot...
but a jest I will pull all the same;
In a mood I deliver
caustic words (to make you shiver)
or a haiku to play out the game;
With a flurry or two I can
billow and coo 'bout the garden,
so smart in the spring;
But it's winter you know
and with all this darn snow
forecast keeps me inside most the while;
So I'll tap out a ditty
and make it sound quite pretty...
and with luck it might
make you all smile.

    Smiling :)

    ...and what a great lil' ditty this is.

    Some days it will slip
    and the mask twists a bit
    but most days I can grin,
    is that really a sin?;

    Just a few of my favorite lines that I can relate to. Even the easiest going characters have off days...
