Sitting on the rim of my seat
And hearing to my heart beat
Trying to forget what I want
And my faith all gaunt.
But I forbid my heart to do that
And hope that there’s someone,
Someone who would care for me
Love me and worry bout’ me.
Hoping, hoping, this would change
To tear this loneliness
Bursting with lights of joy
Leaving me with nothing but happiness.
Then I saw a light-
Light that of my life
A bright new ray of hope
To keep away from
What I feared the most.
And then I knew,I was not alone,
And that more than a few,
Where in need of me
The same way I‘d do.....
