Advise For Life (part 2)

For those who read 'Advise 1'
and want some more,
here it is,
I'll try not to bore.
When you hit your teens,
you'll question, what life means,
you'll think you know at all,
but actually you'll know less
than it seems.
Your parents, once your best mates,
will at times make you irate,
possibly, you'll feel hate,
before freaking out . ...... .wait.
It's partly down to your teeny state
and learning, nobody's totally great.

Do try to respect your mum and dad,
they want for you, what they never had,
you probably wont want what they never had,
but they mean well, so its not bad.
Never feel alone, if away from home,
its going to feel strange,
out of your comfort zone
and apart from all that you've known.
Remember,  home is at the end of the phone.
If a parent should sadly die,
yep, it's going to hurt, you're sure to cry.
You'll miss them so,
you'll search for things to remind,
it may feel like your search is blind,
as it's within yourself, where you'll find,
pieces of your parents, that help to remind.
As we grow older, our parents traits

become bolder.

This really happens, when it happens,

remember it was me who told ya !!

    Its true

    You want a happy poem
I love you & Indey more than I could say
I miss you both every day
    The time we had
    will never make me sad
    indeed it makes me glad
    the moments we had
both with you and your Dad
    have flown over
    Resting in clover
    My love lives on

This makes me realize how much my parents do really care about me and there are time when I feel like I hate them, and they've told me many times that they want what's best for me. I need to show appreciation towards my parents before they die.

How sad but true it all is. I especially like 'as it's within yourself, where you'll find peices of your parents, that help to remind.' That really brought everything together. If you have children, they are certainly lucky. Around 30 it all comes full circle and you realize how little you knew about life and the people in it. I liked also the playful tone. Job well done!
