I watched her walk down the hall
With tears in her eyes
Can no one see the pain we cause?
We sit in our little groups
Laugh when she passes
Make those dumb noises, just like everyone does
But we never stop to think
About how she feels
How we hurt her
But now its too late
We pushed her to far
I'll never know if only I had kept my mouth shut,
Would it have saved her.
The viewing is today
I plan to go
As bad as it sounds,
I'm going to say "I'm Sorry"
I know it will never change what happened
But i feel it was partly my fault
'Cause I laughed right along with the rest
Now the pain and guilt,
rests on my shoulders
i'm beginning to think that i cant bear the weight

This is very sad but, so honest.
I love the sincerity that you wrote
this with. It really makes you stop
and think about how unfairly we tend
to treat other people in our lives.
Especially, when we see them all of
the time. It's never too late to make
a friend in life and sometimes the ones
that we treat the worst are the best
friends that we never had! Lovely work
here my friend!

Wow. Awesome poem, terrible story (in a good way) it almost makes me feel bad. IT's wonderful.

Anyone who would judge you for this is fooling themselves. We are all human, and we all make mistakes. You are responsible for your choices, but she is also responsible for hers. You can't blame yourself, my friend. Thank you for this heartfelt and honest poem.

I wasn't accepted in the regular circles. I was always the opposite of you. Making friends with 'the outcasts', the ones that weren't accepted by anyone else, maybe I felt sorry for the underdog. I beat up a few that would tease my friends. Looking back I feel sorry for the mean kids. For they will go through life, not knowing what a true friend is. You have learned from your mistakes. try to be a teacher of what is right, so that another child might not go through the pain you caused. Be a leader, not a follower. you are forgiven if you have forgiven yourself. This is a great message to send out. Cruel words hurt deeper than anyone really understands, till its too late to take them back. think before you speak. The shoe could have been on the other foot.

Whether fictional or fact we all learn from bridges we cross in the past, Only hoping never to make those same mistakes again, Very powerful sad and tragic all in the same words awsome write..

I agree with Hijuso and hope that this is just a fictional poem. But you did capture some strong emtions within the small amount of lines you wrote. Nice job.
-
Hopefully this is fiction and not you as a victim of bullying or the actual bully.
A good truthful write, i think at some point in our lives, we've all been bullied & the bullys shall get their day.
