Backstabbers

People talk behind our backs,
But never to our face.
Is it that they lack the nerve,
Or just their social grace.

    BRAVO

    I love this write!
I adore the rhyme and picture...but the wisdom is the true jewel here...
    Very well done!
And, yes...they lack the social grace indeed!
    Blessings! Tammy

Very nicely stated. I love this write. I believe perhaps the answer would be they lack both. Very short and powerful write. Well done. Good luck in the contest.

Well... I'm not a big fan of such short poetry however you pretty much summed up what a backstabber is. And to me they are some of the lowest people alive. I make a point to be honest as possible. And while people may HATE me for being blunt and 100% loyal to certain people and certain beliefs I will never EVER betray what I hold dear. It is not how I was raised nor is it in my nature. Well done... good luck in the contest.

too true. in todays society there are so many people that talk crap about people behind their backs because its 'cool'. your take on the prompt was great and you described it very well in 4 short lines. best of luck =]
