Terrorism all around
Comes from the air and on the ground.
People fighting for a cause
Have changed perceptions of our wars.
No one knows attacks will come
To change our world and leave us numb.
Evil bombs strapped to their chests,
They hide in crowds like gnats and pests.
To detonate when crowds are tight,
To kill at will without a fight.
To fly our planes at towers tall,
To laugh and sing as nations fall.
Without a care for lives they claim,
So full of hate, so full of blame.
A bus, three trains, the nations mourn,
The loss of life, the families torn.
The world is shocked, the nations stunned,
Why question if their rights are shunned?
Infidels, they call the West,
And death to all in terror’s quest.
Defile and kill in Allah’s name,
So full of hate, so full of blame.
They forfeit rights when life is snuffed,
They’re brought to court, its not enough.
These P.C. rules by which we’re bound,
Will bring our death by air and ground.
If human rights were used by all,
They wouldn’t trip us up to fall.
Wake up!!! Its war, the future’s grey,
Discard the rules and pave the way.
Tomorrow’s world, an open door,
The planet weeps to end the war.

The planet really does weep for all the horrible things that happened.
This was moving. Thanks for your entry

This is a wonderfully written piece. The anger very much comes through the write. Does it honor those who have fallen? Yes and no. But I really love this. Thank you for sharing your great talent with us.

Once again, I love this! I loved "Napalm Strike", too!! And I have to say that I wholeheartedly with the sentiment.

This is amazing, thanks so much for entering. I can tell that there is a lot of passion and emotion as the driving force behind it. Great Job and Good luck!

Wow... this was sincerely a magnificent piece. And you are quite right, far too many are ignorant of the truth. Thanks so much for the read.

a good poem and full of emotion. though i am not in agreement

I agree with whoever said it before, the last line is a good ending. I think the rhymes seemed forced, though, and they aren't very creative. Example: tall/fall, tight/fight. I think the message you are trying to send is a good one, but the poem did not impress me.

that is one of the best, last lines, i have read in a long time....nice job.
