Transition V 2.0

Our Time comes on on my ipod
and immediately
I  go into reverie mode

It took me a long time
to move on from stuff related
to NLBP
I assure you all I am better now
the reason why I got so anxious
was because
I was fearful of being forgotten about
and that memories would be forgotten too.

Naturally that did not happen.

"Years from now,
We'll remember and we'll come back,
Buy the rooftop and hang a plaque:
This is where we began,
Being what we can."

When you think about it the Barn was a stepping stone
for all of us
for me i'm nothing but a  technican
but Annie Get Your Gun was the best experience ever for
me
though I don't think you guys really realized
how
much that show meant to me.
"Feel the flow,
Hear what's happening:
We're what's happening!
Long ago
All we had was that funny feeling,
Saying someday we'd send 'em reeling,
Now it looks like we can! …"
Now that we've gone our seperate paths
since the Barn and started our own careers
it seems this song really speaks the truth

Through contact has been  spotty between some of us
since we left New London
I have no doubt that you've all been doing amazing things
and though distance between  us may be spread out
that doesn't mean friendships  are divided
as  I so foolishly used to fear.
My fears were senseless really
because I know we'll all continue to be friends throughout the years.

"It's our heads on the block,
Give us room and start the clock.
Our dreams coming true,
Me and you, pal,
Me and you!
Me and you!
Me and you!
Me and you!
Me and you!
Me and you!
Me and you!
Me and you! "

Just to note you guys are all amazing
and continue to be admirable  inspirations to me.

Author notes

Original Version focusses on the memories on Summer 2007, updated version focusses on my struggles to move on from the Barn, how I have overcome them and how much the memories still stick with all of us. Lyrics of Our Time from Merrily We Roll Along infued with in the poem. I do not own rights to these lyrics.
