What once was broken now is sold.
Bought at a price, sprinkeld with blood.
I am not mine you see.
I am not who I used to be.
I am new without a doubt.
Once stricken and blind.
I breathe the air of world.
It cuts my lungs and cancer sets in.
The lust in in eyes.
Spreads and takes away.
The joy that was given.
Freely.
Freely I was saved.
From my wicked nature.
My abuse of substance.
My abuse of love.
My heart ackes for answers of vanity.
The sharp pains in chest.
The horrible cough of cancer.
My feet give way.
I slip and fall.
I touch the damp cave.
I clinch my knees.
Hold on to the night.
Waiting for My Lord.
Bring forth His light.

Please spell check their are a few errors. This has some great potential with a little more metaphors injected. If you choose to edit before the end of the contest let me know. Thank you for entering and spilling your heart out to me.

I loved this piece (I always do like the christian ones), and I hope sincerely that you don't turn from Christ as so many people do.
