Reflections

Reflections

By: Julia L. Clark

Reflections of you looking in to my face

Remembering the touches of your finger tips

Whispering in thirst speaking romantically.

Pitch black sounds legs free of rebounds.

Let me lay down the laws of free violation as I

Consulate snapping finger melodies

Of wild fantasies tip toeing over my ankles.

No spankings from you are never gone unthankful.

Sanctuary lips pressed firmly glued to my thighs.

Your feelings are warming me up then my eyes cry

The deepest passion of river coins plucking

The rose thorns of I miss you out of my skin. As

Pure essence you win me over times ten.

Shadows speak in jealousy creeping up my spine.

As complete silence grabs my behind. You

Reveal your face of all the raising clue signs

Which was a face of my own.

Talking to the self conscious of my mind

My eyes pause in confusion saying this cant be.

How can I look in to the black floors revealing

Myself of pure reflections.

Herbal to my soul

Arms embracing the days of growing

Cold.

I sold you a black clothe

In histories of repeat chain letters.

You broke the spell revealing

Reflections of

My

Fairy

    Look into the mirror,

and you will see yourself, and maybe everyone else you have loved as well. A black shiny floor makes a good mirror as well, maybe it has more meaning than clear, mirrored glass.

A strong write of pure and true emotion here, Julia. Wonderfully and graphically penned, it saw a thousand images while reading.

    I love you,
    Brazos

The alliteration and be bop ryhmes pull the piece together. You use your body not so much as a sensual allusion but more like a list of mnemonics to remind you of how love raced and shuddered through your heart. The last half begins to pick up the gospel beat of a sermon calling everyone to come and testify: be part of the illumination of the spirit when love is manifested, testify: be aware that the earth is reshaped and a reflection of passion when hearts are pure and sin is a memory of how you touched without letting love flow freely from the heart. Nicely done.
    Love, Tom B.

This was beautiful the wording you used was stunning. I especially liked the ending. It wrapped the whole poem up quite nicely. I didn't expect to get any erotic poetry in this contest, but this is more sensual then erotic anyway. I liked the surprise. Thank you for entering.
