Seems I'm always
doing brave things
a lot more often
than I want to
for sure
but doesn't seem
to be too many
other choices
not from where I'm sitting anyway
I'd like to do a really brave thing sometime
like go to another country and help their needy
offer a hand to someone who isn't as clean and neat as I am
feed someone who's really hungry
or
ask someone if they really love me...
hmmmmm, if I were brave.

so your work portrays a person of vision
someone who is always looking for the world to be a better place
i particularly like the last line
"hmmmmm, if I were brave"
it encaptures your honesty, humility, etc
for your are giving your work a continuity that someday you will act on your thoughts
and
accomplish that "something really brave"
in the pursuit of your career, life, relationships, etc
you know, of course, there are some that want to be heroes, do somthing really great
but
you can do something brave simply by hekping a blind man across the street, helping others, volunteer work, or even going back to the bank teller and "excuse me, you gave me an extra $20.00"
(it happened to me not long ago"
and
you feel so brave as she smiles and says "thank you" as you hand her the extra 20

Can I be brave?
If only I were brave myself. I like this poem, it's good, and makes me want to be brace and then run like hell for the hills myself :-D The poem is good, and cute as well, nice piece and I wish you the best in the contest..

well...it took a turn
I chose it in the first place because it was a funny pic, then when I started really thinking about what might be a 'brave' thing to do it kind of got more serious...thanks for your comments. P.
