My heart beat is the only sound that is around me tonight.
I can't seem to get your image out of my head,
Wanting nothing more than to just move on and live.

The darkness around me surround my fibers.
I've come to the point were I want nothing but you,
For you to forgive all my mistakes and actions.

Take this heart of mine and bury it.
Take it away and do something with it,
Do this one thing for me and I will never ask again.

I feel as if I'm just a toy solider in a sea of nothing.
Beat by beat and heart to heart.
I'm the one that is supposed to never lose her composer.

Making up for all the past mistakes,
as I walk this loaned path by myself with out you beside me.
My head lowered so the people around can't see.

See the pain and sadness in my eyes,
taking away from everything I have worked on.
My life slowly ticking by.

Not showing anything I've done to accomplish myself intake.
I want to feel so alive,
I want to forget yesterday.

I want to burn and run from the flames,
as I run down this winding hall way with you behind me.
Taking away everything I've worked so hard to accomplish.

I want to make the great escape,
not hear a word they say.
Just run as far as my legs will take me.

Take the dust off the shelfs and run,
forgetting all my past mistakes as I do.
Forget yours and everyones face as I make the escape.

But for some-odd reason your there,
never to be erased from memory.
Someone that can't be drank away.

Take this heart of mine and hold it as you may.
I got to let my spirit to be free,
I got to be free to change my mind.

I can't waist time just give me a moment.
Make sure that nothing is broken,

In the darkness of my heart,
I wounder around the creases and search for cracks.
Trying to forgive myself for all my miscast deeds.
