As a little girl I remember seeing a mustang for the first time,
With his beauty and such grace I wish he was mine.
Quietly I crawl over the fence knowing he is wild,
I reach out with my small hand and pat him on his head and smiled.
Watching him run across the land wild and free,
There with him I wanted to be.
The crisp breeze blowing through my hair.
Flying free without a care.
The wild mustang so gentle inside,
Open land is where we ride.
Author notes
This actually happened when I was a little girl, I was always told to stay away from him because he was to wild and he hasn't been worked with yet. But I couldn't hold my self back he was so beautiful and free I wanted to join him so I did.

I used to feed 2 horses that were kept in a field behind my nanas house~ I used to feed them carrots all the time.
Finally the owner let me ride the tamest one, Vanilla is what I called it; because it was white-lol, I know, so original.
The bugger bucked me off.
Horses don't like me much, but I do like to watch them. Magnificent animals.
A lovely snapshot of this, thanks.

Thank you so much for reading. I was always told never go near that horse because they haven't worked with him yet and I did any way, he didn't even move he just let me pet him and scratch his ears. I thought it was great.

Oh, you ahve the narrative down...but there are a couple of things to look at..
“the fence known he is wild,” knowing?
“pat him on his head an smiled.” And?
