I am ugly,
Inside and out.
And it breaks my heart:
Crushes it into tiny little pieces
and stomps on it with childish satisfaction-
It breaks my heart
that dirt will never be holy water,
And ugly
will never be beautiful.

Cracked reflections and shards of dignity-
I tread carefully
so as to avoid cutting the soles of these tired feet.
I long to be a caterpillar
crawling through nature until
I can fly away from here-
Beat my wings against gravity himself
and perch, beautiful and proud
on buds of promise.

Everyone is beautiful in there own way. I learned that one from a comment you left me lonng time ago.
Yet I hope this wasn't a personal poem Cuz there is no way you are ugly. Your beautiful outside and your personality AND kindness make you a Goddess inside. Just keep writing but Make them happy poems that give your smile some justice

This was a little dark and I am not quite sure if you were referring to yourself, but if you were then I just want to tell you that you are a very beautiful girl, and you obviously have major talent, keep you head up and know your worth!
