Undefined Definition

Undefined, unparalleled, like no other emotion;
sometimes so calm, then again like the ocean.
Untamed, unrefined, yet as fresh as they come;
lasting forever, in one moment undone.
Thoughts come so fast, then not at all;
where once you jumped for joy, now swiftly you fall.
There used to be laughter, now tears are squeezed out;
where once needed were whispers, now you must shout.
You wanted nothing, but find you need everything;
a pauper is left crownless where before he was king.
Unshifting, unyielding, yet bending til it breaks;
shifting into overdrive right before it brakes.
Unknowing, uncaring, yet its worth is beyond compare;
needing nothing but to feel its worth in another,
love in all its forms we share.
