Love alive breathed light in life,
filled my soul's deep velvet skies.
In sparkling diamonds ever bright,
that once I saw within your eyes.
But one by one, they fell from heaven,
since you've moved, so far away.
This emptiness, it seems has driven,
star luster in life, now all's turned gray.
If only in the flesh, your just as near.
Yet no more than a murky phantom .
Cold vacant stares, to my question seers,
my dying soul when I ask what's happened.
This starless void that fills my universe,
is a senseless vacuum ,I can't deny.
All living fervor fell under this curse,
without love's star-fire,I'll surely die.

Very nice piece. It shows exceptional rhythm and flows nicely from beginning to end.

Starfire...this is such a visual element of desire.
You captured me in the first stanza and tied me tight with this ending of physical need. Adoring your words,
Blue
