Cleveland Rocks (Feel The Rush)

Missing image

Dedication seeps through the concrete cracks
Here in a place I call my faithful home
Not too many things this place of grace lacks
Baseball, basketball, and football, we're known

Ohio remains the heart of it all
Where you can see nature's beauty around
The city of Cleveland is standing tall
Where many wonderful souls do surround

I cherish many wonders in places
Around the states that I have seen as well
But right back here my heart always traces

For we're entwined like ice-cream and carmel

Cheers to the faithful fans watching the Tribe
Tonight I'll be glued for another ride

    hon this was great to me this read in spoken word form and thats just my opinion i see why you robbed them for gold it was a very uplifting piece from beginning to end.

    This is cool and I was in Cleveland once. I liked the people they were cool. My Grandfather is from Cincinatti Oh I loved the form and the poetic excellence.

    Now you know I love this Timothy! Yes, yes, and another yes.. I am a Clevelander, and a Buckeye! I love my fair city and this poem! Go Indians! Go Tribe! Go Timothy. Yes darlin', we are "the heart of it all, standing tall"! I smiled all over myself reading this. You make me proud to be born and bread in C-Town. Guess I gotta enter this contest as well.
