The lost child

That night in the woods
when eveything was quiet
when the sun and the moon
had traded places for the night
I sat all alone
under the big birch tree
hugging myself as tight as I could
trying my best to hide myself
from the icy cold fingers of the roaring wind
thinking of pixies and fairy tales
wishing for once they all were true
elves of the wood Oh! dryads dear
come to the aid of the one in fear
who can't even shed a single tear
lest should it bring the creatures near
who wait in the dark to pounce upon
the sweet innocent angels of dawn

    Simply Magical!

You have wonderfully penned apoem on an otherwise frantic subject, from the focus of the Lost and Lostee, and added a magical element of desire under duress for fantasy to be a reality.

    This is delightful!

    Another beautiful write.
    I loved the lines:
"when the sun and the moon
had traded places for the night"
And the rhythm and flow of the poem was fantabulous (if that's a word XD)
    *hugs*

    Has an Innocent Beauty

This is so beautiful my AP Daughter,
There is such a sense of innocence, of purity of heart, uncorrupted by the adult world of limitations, stress and hardship. Tho' far removed from the innocence of my own youth, I can certainly appreciate it when I see it manifest by others.

I love Your Pesentation,You have wonderfully captured the moment. Your AP Dad is mighty proud of his AP Daughter.
More Power to You, Write on!
