You Were My Last Breath of Destruction

My entire world started breathing within you
And part by part my life became your tale,
My eyes forgot to see anything beyond you
And bit by bit I became yours.

Scent of the damp pages of my diary
Where you are kept as the spirit of my soul,
Lingers in my senses
Capturing my entire self.

The day I started loving thee
The earth ending ecstasy started breathing in me.
Knowing you are not to be mine
All my love became only for thine.
So I started to prepare for the ending that will give thee a new start
In destruction I got the sweetest pleasure of my heart.

I think the first two verses are really very good, however, the final verse with its rhyme and old english, although good, makes it feel like a separate poem somehow. Good luck in the contest!
