What is going to happen to you and me,
when the world falls into pieces,
and sifts through the cracks in the sidewalk-
to nowhere land.
What is going to happen to you and me,
when our kisses stop being enough,
and instead of pulling me closer,
your touch makes me flinch?
What is going to happen to you and me,
when I stand in front of the ocean,
and wish to fade away into the mist,
no pain, no love, no glory.
What is going to happen to you and me,
when I cry myself to sleep,
alone in a bed with white linen sheets,
no warm arms around me.
What is going to happen to you and me,
when I fail you so much,
that you can’t meet my eyes?
That you can’t look at me?
What is going to happen to you and me…

Heart wrenching
This was beautiful. The doubt throughout the whole piece is something that I can definitely relate to at this point in time. Thankyou for your wonderful entry.
