When we make love I can feel
Our bodies moving together
like the Autumn falling leaves
The intensity of this feeling
Tells my mind I should be screaming
Your hands then hold my face
With such tenderness and grace
You run your trembling fingers
Around my mouth, then lingers
Our mouths then come together
With tongues we taste each other
With closed eyes we keep imagining
Oh! what a wonderful feeling
Then you look me in the eye
As though waiting for a reply
Of a silent question asking
Could this be everlasting
The chemistry that comes between us
So strong, so rare, so robust
It is the friendship and the yearning
That would keep this fire burning
