Cunning we are
Little late to lead.
Every boy and girl at the edge of their seat.
Vendors selling hot dogs.
Every run on the mark,
Leading the game.
Astoundingly played,
New York fans will be crying tonight.
Don't underestimate the power of the tribe.
Roudy fans you will get, if you beat on the team.
Old and young
Come forth to cheer.
Knock us about and we will come back.
So all together, let's give a shout!

i remember a contest awhile back about cleveland i use to live near there in a small town called ravenna about 30 miles from there , even though its been a long time ago i still remember the terrible snows that we had there and i still think about the times , thanks for bring back a long time ago memory for me

Go Indians!
I live out on the West Coast and well we lost to the Angels in the division this year yet again and I was darn glad when I watched the Red Soxs cream the Angels then even more happy when I watched the Indians pound the blasted yankees to death. I really felt like I was with you at the ball park and that is what really made this poem a winner. I love the Indians and the way they are playing and I hope to see them in the World Series against the underdog Colorado Rockies! Go Indians! Nice poem and keep it up

Nice little sports piece, you don't see those on here much! Being from Arizona I gotta say I'm more of a Diamondbacks fan! (Shut up we're making a nice comeback this year!) Though I have to agree Indians will most likely "cream" the Yankees lol.
