Tattered leaves;
Black, white;
Sanctity sundered:
secrets littered
[beyond context]
that were never yours to see

I think "sundered" is my new favorite word, so I must compliment you on your vocabulary.
I took a few minutes to think about this, and the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. The leaves didn't make sense to me at first, but now that I get it, I like how it all ties in. I think, we did take similar approaches (although very different still). Great minds, indeed.

Ok, contest is over, so I can reply.
Thanks for your comment! The 'leaves' are actually pages, it's a bit of a double entendre; the idea of scattered leaves (from a tree) and scattered leaves (from a book).
The black and white of the picture, with the only color being the red, which I assume we are to believe is blood made me think of my own writing (in black and white) on journal pages, and how it represents in some cases my most secret and private thoughts. (the blood)
The sealed up windows, for me, represented that these were things that are not supposed to be seen by the world, and they're not. My Journal is a place where I 'work things out', and as a result, they contain a lot of hateful and awful things that I may have written in haste, and needed to 'work out' in my head.
If these words were ever revealed, and interpreted as truth, they would be devistating, especially if devoid of thier context.
It's just where the picture took me; and I like to think that it stands on its own, even without the picture. -

That's very deep, I like it a lot
