It's my rude awakening
My all apology
When the feet meet the Earth
And the wind is at my back
They're looking for me here
And the sweat begins to form
Small crystal spheres of doubt
Those translucent orbs of fate
Seers of my destiny
I know that they are watching me
My pulse begins to quicken
Hands pressed hard inside my pockets
Cloistering from the cold
The odds are so unfair
One against the world
Take me by the hand won't you?
Cradle me please?
Nothing...nothing
What do I do with Nothing?
Will it kiss my face?
Give maternal embraces?
Paternal graces?
Tranquil places?
Nothing
It is my abyss
My judgement day
Wrapped into the womb of Mother Nature
I tell myself don't break
Don't crack beneath it all
I tell myself as the lump forms in my throat
Then I realize
These are not self fufilling prophecies
No premonition to my failure
I'm beyond the roots of my bloodline
Above this wind at my back
I am the phemomenon
And I am taking my first step...
