Dying Stars [1]

As shadows fall,

only in dreams

do we make love

beneath a veil of dying stars;

and I would rather sleep my life away,

than look upon an empty sky.

    This is great again, I love short poems like this, what's the point in writing 90 lines of bullshit when you can get straight to the point in just a few, love it my friend, deep and meaningful,
    well done again!

    I admit this one didn't have the impact its sequel did but I can see the seed of inspiration in it that grew to full blown excellence.

    Sincerely,

    But when at night and every gleaming like fills your eyes do you ever wonder why we can't summer in Alpha Centuri.
    Lovely thought.

    An excellent short poem. In six lines you manage to convey a depth of emotion that many longer poems lack, and you do it with skill and poetic dexterity.

    living universe...

    symposium matter - wafting like love on an updraft, riding thermals over other layers of clairvoyance, interpreting misery into warm, fuzzy feelings filled with life's dream journal moments...nice piece of poetry here.
