The confusion sets in
and nothing makes sense anymore
There is never any warning
never any signs
One night he leans over whispers in you ear
holds you tight to his body
and tells you he loves you
kisses your cheeck
lays his head on your chest
and looks at you with the most sincere eyes
And the next he doesn't want anything to do with you
and your left awe stricken frozen from the heart out
You didn't do anything
Actually you did everything
you took care of him when he needed you
you loved him the way you always should
He says he still loves you
theres no doubt there
but he still doesn't know if he wants it
you lose your mind, with not knowing
why the only person you have left
is pushing you away
you do dumb things you regret later
like why didn't I just leave?
You wanna call him up and beg for his forgiveness
but just by calling him
if he even picked up
you'de be violationg some sacred pact
So now your left waiting for him to decide
Nights are the hardest
because thats when you roll over
and remember the feel of his arms around you at night
which leads to the night before and it's one long cycle
of longing for before
So now that you've lost your mind
the last person you could go to in the world
whats left are two very cold options
The first im sure we all know
but thats too severe and I promised him never again
so I'll move and reestablish myself in another city
hell another state
yeah it may be near him
but it'll also be around others
And most importantly I'll be on my own.
I just wish that I knew what goes through
that head of his
what he's thinking behind those beautiful soul searching eyes

Isn't it just the greatest feeling to feel like you've been kissed, then thrown away. Please pardon the sarcasm. Do you still feel as though he has, "All of you?" This was jam packed with emotion. I enjoyed reading it, and good luck in the contest.

you win. this is exactly where i stand, feel, etc. god fucking everything. and yes i swear to make a point. and then the ending, its exactly what i want to do. run away, get away from him so he can never see me cry again.
