The Lost Lover
W. Peter Sanci Oct. 4 / 2007
The night was filled with stars.
The moon shone brightly ore’s our heads.
We walked silently hand in hand.
We parted quietly, and I see her no more.
I think of her now and then,
Kindly and tenderly, for I still love her so.
But for now to her, I am far away.
And am probably forgotten, but I shall always remember her.
