Into the moonlight
I drive away
No tears shed
Nothing left to say
Just a memory
And then it fades
In a list
What did you think

nice
I like short poems and to the point too - - read your profile - perhaps you can tell me why the north star is always north and the southern cross always south ? - or are they ? - I wrote a poem about "Two Poles" you may like - Hey I like the rhyme in this poem of yours and the short message - Bless God -

Good
You were kind enough to read and comment on one of my pieces, so I thought I would return the favor.
Although this is an abbreviated poem, it states a simple and profound truth that can not be ignored.
Memories are a precious treasure, but time erodes away the sharp edges, and all that is left is a fading residue. When we remember a time, we remember moments, little snippets time that change their character with each passing year. Many times, what we remember has little to do with the reality we lived.
Well done.

short but sweet. yeah, i like the term 'polaroid' too.
the fading takes awhile though, eh? And the more poingiant, the slower the fading...
does 'shed' need to bet here in 'no tears shed'? -
