in spring, God
sows his seed of green buds
upon barren trees.
full and thick they
grow hiding the
rest of nature's passion of life
amongst the branches,
sap rising free.
squirrels chatter,
cicadas sing.
life is everywhere
amid the leaves.
nests abundant
in the green.
i know they are there.
i hear
the songbirds sing
as blue jays
sound warnings to the crows.
natures dance of life.
never still.
never silent.
always at peace with
itself.
Author notes
trees do not move yet are never still.

I felt the movement in your title and as i read you painted such an incredible picture that i just wanted to jump into it and lurk within the words. I applaud the ending the clarity and peacefulness which takes me back to the title. This is the lingering thoughts i take with me to ponder and reflect upon.
Thank you for the pleasure of the dance.
good luck in the contest. Nicely crafted.
